The Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage alpine valley perched between 11,500 ft and 14,400 ft in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Over 500 varieties of wild blossoms carpet the valley floor against snow-capped peaks. The 6-day trek starts from Govindghat to the base village of Ghangaria and includes visits to the sacred high-altitude Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara.
